DURING CONSULTATION

We begin all appointments with a consultation. During the consultation, we review the area(s) of concern, and your medical history. It is important to fully disclose your medical history prior to treatment as certain allergies, skin & neurological conditions or medications can jeopardize your safety or results.

We will then take your before and after pictures for your charts. Avoid direct, excessive sun exposure or tanning one month prior to treatment. Additonally, it is recommended to avoid the use of retinol a few days before and after treatment.

DURING TREATMENT

During treatment there will be a bright flash of light from the Aerolasse that feels like a light elastic sensation. Redness and a slight warming of the skin are normal after treatment and usually subside within an hour. To ensure optimal results, we kindly request that you arrive for your appointment without any makeup. This allows us to thoroughly cleanse the treatment area and accurately assess any changes in your skin.

POST-PROCEDURE

Over the next 24-48 hours you may see a darkening of pigmented spots; in the week afterwards the pigmented lesions flake off, leading to an evening out of skin tone.

After your Aerolase treatment, you may experience mild redness or warmth in the treated area, which typically fades within a few hours. Most clients can resume normal activities immediately, as there is little to no downtime. In the days following treatment, you may notice an overall improvement in skin tone, texture, or clarity, depending on the specific concern being addressed.

As your skin responds and regenerates, results will continue to improve over time. For concerns like acne, pigmentation, or rejuvenation, a series of treatments is often recommended. Sessions are typically spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart, depending on your skin goals and the condition being treated. Your provider will create a customized treatment plan to ensure optimal and lasting results. Be sure to wear sunscreen daily and follow any aftercare instructions provided to protect and maintain your skin between sessions.
