DURING TREATMENT

During a DiolazeXL laser hair removal session, clients can expect a quick and comfortable experience using advanced diode laser technology. You’ll be provided with a robe to change into if needed, and an ultrasound jelly is applied to cool and protect the skin throughout the treatment. The laser targets hair at the root while a built-in cooling system ensures a virtually painless procedure. Clients are expected to shave all areas they wish to have treated prior to their appointment. We may touch up small areas (about a palm’s size), but if larger areas are not adequately shaved, we will need to avoid treating those sections. Depending on the treatment area or if it’s a full-body session, the procedure can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour, with no downtime required afterward

To ensure optimal results, we kindly request that you arrive for your appointment without any makeup. This allows us to thoroughly cleanse the treatment area and accurately assess any changes in your skin. Once the area is cleansed, we will apply a topical Lidocaine anesthetic to help minimize any potential discomfort. Depending on your preference and needs, we may also offer other pain management options such as topical ice or a dental block.

POST-PROCEDURE

After your DiolazeXL session, you may experience some mild redness or warmth in the treated areas, similar to a light sunburn. This typically subsides within a few hours. Over the next 1–2 weeks, treated hairs will begin to shed—this is a normal part of the process. It’s important to avoid sun exposure and wear SPF on exposed areas to protect the skin. You may notice patchy regrowth as the hair growth cycle progresses, with fewer and finer hairs returning after each session. For best results, sessions are typically scheduled every 4 weeks to target hair during its active growth phase. Most clients need a series of treatments for optimal, long-lasting results. Your provider will help you plan a personalized schedule based on your skin and hair type.

Following your appointment, it is normal to experience mild bruising and swelling, which should gradually improve over the next few days. To facilitate the healing process, we recommend refraining from strenuous exercise for 24-48 hours after receiving dermal filler. However, please note that specific instructions may vary depending on the treated areas, and your injector will provide you with personalized guidance.
